You can use any type of yarn for this hat.
It's really easy and very quick to make. I used local yarn Minlon Dark Green 1/2 skein and a little Olive green. I used 4mm needles
start with Dark Green
round 1-ch 33, dc in 3rd chain from hook. dc in each ch untill last ch, 2dc in last ch continuing on the bottom of work. dc in each ch accross join with sl stitch on the 3rd ch of beginning. (60dc)
round 2- ch3 fpdc in the next 4dc, (bpdc in the next5dc, fpdc in the next 5dc)4times. bpdc in the last 5dc. join with sl stitch in he 3rd ch of beginnig (30fpdc, 30bpdc)
round 3- ch3 fpdc in the next 4fpdc, (bpdc in the next 5bpdc, fpdc in the next 5fpdc)4times. bpdc in the last 5bpdc. join wih sl stitch to the 3rd ch of beginning (30fpdc, 30pbpdc)
round 4-5 repeat round 3
round 6- ch3 bpdc in the next 4 fpdc, (fpdc in the next 5bpdc, bpdc in the next 5fpdc)4times. fpdc in the last 5 bpdc. join with a sl stitch on the 3rd ch of beginning.
round 7-10 repeat round 6
round 11-15 repeat round 3
change color to olive green here
round 16- ch3 dc in each stitch around join with sl stitch on the 3rd ch of beginning change to dark green
round 17- ch3, dc in each st around join with sl titch to the 3rd ch of beginning
repeat rounds 16 & 17 2more times or until desired length ending with round 16 as the last round.
last round - join dark green sc in each dc join with sl stitch on the 3rd ch of beginning.
finishing - ch1 sc from left to right in each st around, fasten off and tie a knot then weave in lose ends.
Corners Make 2 Cut 6 strands of each color 15cm in length and thread into the corners tie into a knot.
